When I was in high school, there was a localish race rider who suffered a
chain snap on a hard launch. The chain whipped up and took his leg at the
knee, shattering the bone too badly to attempt reattaching it.
He left motorcycles, got into rally. Drove a car with a hand clutch mounted
to his shif
sad story, glad he is alive. makes me want to mount cameras on the 4
corners of my bike any time i go out.
there is a guy where i live that rides a trike with a jocky shift and a
prostetic left leg... but cant blame the guy if he decides to hang up his
helmet ither

having a rally this weekend and one of their members who was traveling there
was the victim of a hit and run.
