The two breather tubes go down either side of the frame tubing . They go up before going down just to form a gentler sweep. No gas should come out. If it does you have a leaking float valve or leaking O rings in the metal fuel feed to each carb. Tap the bowls with a screw driver first to see if it

My understanding is that the 2 tubes on the right and left side of the carbs are breathers. But for the life of me i cant figure out where they are supposed to connect to. The a stretched on both ends so they look like they were connected to something.once the carbs were installed i snaked
