That shadow looks a bit thin. Maybe you should get a beefier bike.

I will keep my NH. I will not be happy until I have a garage full of mc's, like
I did 30 years ago. Might not have a wife then but I will have lots of
motorcycles!

Not sure they are the same bike - but I had an '06 Shadow (briefly).
No power, only wanted to go straight, vibrated all the time, scraped the
pegs off the thing.
Went back to the 750S !!

I'm going to put some highway pegs on my bike to offer some relief from the
tight (to me) riding triangle on my
NH. Riding position is good for city.

Not a terribly big fan of the posture, so I can't say I've ridden one, but
for the buzzy comment I'd say probably true; they are vtwin powered after
all.

Does anyone own or have ridden a newer (2010-2012) Honda Shadow RS? The reason
I ask, is that I sat on 1 at the Honda dealer a few days ago. The ergonomics
were great for. Especially the midmount foot pegs. I have heard they are buzzy
at higher RPM's. Any comments?

Agreed. Make sure timing marks line up correctly, otherwise the chain may have
jumped a cog on a timing gear. I had a 82 Honda accord that did similar after a
timing belt change.

Hi All,
I have been replacing a motor for my brother in a late 84 shadow 700. I got
the bike almost ready to ride did the test start and fired up then came to
a stretching stop. I found out that it was a clutch problem someone had
forgotten to put all the parts back in the clutch. I had all th
Looking for feedback. Found a 1990 Shadow I really like as an addition to
the '84 CB650 'Hawk.
The Shadow has 40k miles. I am concerned, but it's baseless concern as I
really don't know what the relevant questions are to ask.
Anything in particular to look at on the bike?
I certainly can't
