What you can do is, get a piece of aluminum bar stock, and cut/glue it to the handlebar stops. You will loose a bit of turning radius, but you will only miss that when moving the bike around the garage. My brother did this when he put superbike bars on his 92 NH 750, he used JB Weld, and has had no

Hi David. Can you take a picture of your install and show us what you mean? I just installed 1 inch risers on my 1992 750 but we must be talking about some very different equipment if yours hit the tank. Quite honestly I'm having a hard time even visualizing that. A picture or two would help a LOT

Put on my risers from E bay's Gascapdude. The risers are the up and back version. Went on with no problem, but they hit the gas tank :( Hard to believe that it is installation error as they seem to be able to only go on one way. Waiting for some feedback. I did not have an issue with the 3/

Well, I got my handlebar risers on and went for a ride this weekend. These are the $30 Ebay risers, 1". They went on pretty easy once I got the windshield disconnected. There's no more slack left in the brake line than the 1", and even that is tight. I couldn't have the handlebars at the same a

Cool. I've read that you can increase slack by rerouting the brake line thru the triple tree, but don't recall exactly what route that was or how much slack it provides. That's why I referenced the Twisted Throttle version. They're pricey (@ $115), but from the description and photos at their si

So I got out in the garage and disconnected my handlebars and windshield, and I soon realized that there was only going to be enough slack for the 1" up risers because of the brake line, mostly. Although I wanted the "up and back" type one, I ordered the $38 1" up risers. Surfswab, I know you sa

Try twistedthrottle.com for inch-up, inch-back "fit your bike" risers. Warning, they're pricier than you'd think (about $100 or so). Been coveting them myself. On Feb 27, 5:15 pm, EGrider wrote: > Took my '96 750 NH out for a ride Sunday, and maybe I'm getting old, but I > thought that I'd like
