The 250 and 750 bikes are fundamentally different, you wouldn't be able to
just stuff a 750 engine in that frame. However, the upgrade is not
impossible. Here's how to do it in 4 easy steps:
Step 1> Sell 250 on Craigslist
Step 2> Don't spend 250 money on candy
Step 3> Put more money with 250 money
You got it Kyle!

Even if you managed to do it the bike would be highly unsafe, as the 750
frame and suspension is significantly beefier.

And, as I recall, the 250 motor serves as the lower frame member. No such
provision on the 750, which sits inside the aforementioned beefier frame.

The 250 doesn't look like it has the engine serving as a stressed member,
but the 750 is still just too much for that suspension and brakes.
What goals were you hoping to attain with such a swap? Perhaps we can
suggest other options to obtain them.

Hello friends,
I have a question and I hope someone has had some experience with this. I
am looking to upgrade my bike with an electronic ignition kit (similar to
Dynatek S Ignition instead of points. I can't find anything that is
compatible with my year/model.
Please let me know. Best, Jenya
On my 2003 NH750, I've been thinking about doing some upgrades on the front
end, including a metal hose for the front brake and progressive springs for
the front forks. The front end seals are likely due for replacement
anyway. Can anyone please recommend upgrade kits? My motorcycle mechanic

The 1983 Nighthawk CB650SC has electronic ignition. It has no points or
condenser.

I did not know that. Apologies...
Is there a more modern electronic ignition that I can use? If you know of any.
Thank you

No need to apologies. The ignition system on the Nighthawk is extremely
reliable and efficient. I’ve never had a problem with one.

I have done those two upgrades to my 750 and I think they are the best.
Progressive for the forks, and I bought Russell Sanders SS lines for the

I'm in Canada and VERY interested in that eBay guy up here as well. Looking
forward to your response. I also have a US shipping address only an hour away
from me so can also look at the Galfer option. Love where I live to have
options from each country, I just need more palm trees and less snow😜
