thanks, Domen! That solution looks nice for packaging ruby apps. :)

Hi,
is my mind playing tricks on me or did the whole Ruby gems packaging vanish a

Hi,
last year I experimented with self-managing NixOS installations. One thing that
I stumbled upon was that regularly triggering nixos-rebuild would create new

Is there a way to suppress that or a reason why this can’t be suppressed in

Indeed, the way this works is that we hash the recipe (including its
dependencies)
On a somewhat related note, is there any way to see the exact
configuration.nix for a particular generation? It would be great to be
able to diff generations against each other (e.g.: to figure out whether a
channel update caused a problem or whether it was my own change).

The Symbola font has been updated to a new version 7.21 without renaming the
file for download, which leads to a hash mismatch error. The attached patch
updates the version fixing the hash mismatch build error.

Hi,
I’m making good progress with this new approach in packaging sensu (the new
process is quite a blast actually).
Shall I update the documentation to reflect this or are those actually separate
approaches? (Library packaging versus Application packaging)
