As far as I know, haskellPackages is still maintained. You've probably read
the message of the deprecation of the various LTS Haskell and Stackage
package sets: those were provided in addition to the haskellPackage set.

Hello list,
in recent nixpkgs, the multiple outputs branch was merged. Is there any
documentation on how this is supposed to work / what outputs there exist
(i've found "out", "dev", "static" for zlib) / how to use it when writing
packages?

What I take from this thread is not that we need to enforce ownership (I
think it is right to say that the people committing to nixpkgs are cautious
to only commit to their own stuff), but rather that we need to document
this ownership better. Just a file, like chromiums OWNERS files could help

Hi Peter,
The new haskell infrastructure looks very nice, thanks for that, I

Hello,
I think the problem occurs because in recent nixpkgs hashable was upgraded,
but hashable is a GHC core package and thus cannot be replaced. I guess
that previously the version provided by GHC was newer than the nixpkgs one,
so it shadowed the nixpkgs version. Now, with the upgraded version,
