We are in 2013 already, but still no videos? Not planning to share them?
Thanks.

Hmmm, maybe it was superior, I wasn't there can't really say about it. But
judging by online materials - videos don't even have a titles, and failing
to find an average videocam nowadays -

Yup, it also makes me a bit mad to watch the feeling of entitlement some people
have over other's free time and work.

You
@ JSConf they record and release all the talks:
http://2012.jsconf.eu/speakers.html
Yes, I know what other conferences do, especially JSConf's since I talk to
the organizers almost every day.
Then you ought to ask them how do they do to record and release everything...

I can go to the doctor for free, but I've paid taxes in order to do so.
I get 1000 free minutes from my carrier, but I'm paying for a

My point is, many times what we get for free now, is the result of us
paying in the past.
This has nothing to do with

Nah, *nodeconf*was*not*free*, so they must have forgotten to save some bucks
for the online videos?
And *he* came saying
Jorge, what conference do you run again?

One that's so much better than the rest that doesn't even release any videos,
hahaha.
FYI: tenconf.s3.amazonaws.com is throttling -to Spain, at least- @ 20-25kB/s so
it's ~ impossible to see any of them
Did you actually read what I wrote?
I *could* release all the videos. I *won't* because they don't meet my
standards. I won't release a video of a person standing in front of a screen
talking if it doesn't convey their ideas as well as seeing the talk in person
did. It doesn't do the speaker

Wow. This thread got pretty ridiculous, didn't it? I'm really disappointed.
People who put on conferences take on an absurd amount of
responsibility and put in an inhuman amount of work, and often end up
losing a considerable amount of money in the process. If they do make
a profit, it tends
I love this :)

i guess conference organizer's are the ones that watch the videos (sarcasm)
this post started a few months ago and still only a couple of videos have
come out ... as someone very interested in watching them, it

Post-production takes a long time :). Plus figure in that conference
organizers usually have jobs, consulting and other obligations, families,
kids, dogs, maybe occasional court appearances, etc. Even if you're not
uploading all the videos you might have done post for all of them :).
On Friday,
We spent a lot more time and money on the videos this year. It will take some
time to edit them but they will go up.
One problem we had was that the HDMI capture device totally shit the bed. This
means that for the live coding portions of videos we're going to have to make
a rough cut, send it
Looking forward to it.

If the last nodeconf is any indication, it'll probably be several
months until they're released. They do a lot of editing and whatnot to
get them
:-( I was hoping to catch the node-mysql live coding - heard that it was a
super-session! I hope they don't edit too much out of it.

I haven't even seen the last nodeconf videos, because I forgot about
them after a similar thread like this.
Maybe anyone collected links?
