article [0] on the topic and there is LaTeX package (pdfx) for pdfTeX
that has a good doc about that [1]. In short, PDF/X-1A is a set of

allthough the .mps files are generated.
In mpboxes I had to add [pdftex] to \usepackage{graphics} because

since I run pdfTeX and bibtex, the process can be done automatically
using texexec (after the 2006 release, of course).
