I use grid-setting, but have elements, which should not be set on the
grid (because it is impossible, because of different interlinespaces,
bigger fonts, or whatever).
For these elements I use
\startlinecorrection Elements \stoplinecorrection
After these elements the normal text is continued,

the size of glyphs + interlineskip .. best use:
\big \setupinterlinespace
