newer versions of Partition Magic will work fine, you just need to run it from a
diskette.
Create
a Win98 boot disk the PQMagic DOS recovery diskette, boot from a floppy,
then run the partition software from the second diskette.

means downtime, but if you need to shuffle disk
The simple answer is to hard code the name of the machine you want to use
for network time into the script you are calling the command from...
e.g.
net time \\mypdc.mydomain.com /set
