I complained about this problem (here) back when Xobni chatter was all over
this list. And I'm pretty sure I entered the same complaint when
uninstalling Xobni and asked to tell them why. Never heard anything back
mails when
Vipre's E-mail scanner is enabled.

because I had selected them (no preview pane, etc). This didn't

disabling the service but it still runs. I have blocked the installer but I
can not figure out how to block it once it is installed.
