I've worked with Canon, Sharp, Kyocera, Konica/Minota - they all need
service too often. I've recommended setting up a cot or the service
techs next to the worst offenders.

The Sharp machines do not scan to network folders "the same way" the Kyocera
machines do. Other than that we absolutely LOVE the sharp copiers. they
are faster and require less maintenance, in our exprience. We have 10+
units at various locations. 4 sharp's introduced over the last 3 years.

We have the Canons and they work pretty well. If you are talking about
1 or 2 of them then the management of the printer/scanner functions is
ok, but we have over 100 of them and managing them is a royal pain.

We have both of the Kyocera printers and they work well for us. The only
complaint I have about the Kyoceras is that the touch screen is a bit slow
to respond sometimes when switching from copying to scanning and such. Other
than that, it's all good for us.

We've used the Canon iR series, not those models. I don't recall any
issues and the little screen on the copiers was easy to use.
We now use Xerox WorkCentre copiers of various flavors. I think we
have a few 5655. No issues. The on-copier screens are not as easy/nice
looking at the Canons, bu
