like a problem I was having with our Exchange server awhile back due to low
virtual memory. What does the event log tell you? Our problem was related to
GroupShield, so I uninstalled it and replaced with Antigen
:o)

log doesn't tell me anything. No error messages. Mouse does not function
on the desktop at all, so, right mouse click on the desktop doesn't do
anything. But if I open any application, it will work within those applications...
