I'm running NT and have rebuilt the server and I am
running Norton corporate edition and now I'm getting virus' found on the server
itself again. Nothing like chasing your tail.

this a glitch with Norton AV. The virus was either deleted or quarantined but
keeps showing up on the console. I have spent alot of time in Symantec's
Knowledgebase on that. They have confirmed the problem and assured me that the
virus was removed.

The tool and the updates remove or quarentine the
infected files but does it stop the virus from coming back?

.. I think this is due to the settings of quarantine and backup. If
you don't go in and delete them it reports them again and again
even though they are in quarantine. I just go select them all and
delete from both quarantine and backup.
