So, to bring up an old topic, what does everyone recommend for setting up
something like this for your organization?
My manager just decided that he wants to set this up and that we should set
this up and the pricing for MS Live Communication Server is a bit well,
pricey to say the least. We're
Hosted LiveMeeting is pretty competitively priced. Live Communications
Server is when you want to host your own.
You can go direct to MS for hosting, or many voice conference providers
resell it as well. We get ours from MS, but I know Intercall resells it.

Hi all!
Thought of posting this here in order to obtain some feedback. Is anyone
using this service? What I am
My concerns are related to issues such as hacking attempts during the WebEx
session. They say that the connection is encrypted using 128 Bit SSL and AES.

I can't think of ever hearing anything bad happening in WebEx.

but it violated our policy and exposed what I consider a hole in WebEx (at

He connected our corporate computer to WebEx. Enabled remote control. Went
to dinner, then back to his hotel. All the while, we had
We have used WebEx a lot with consultants and technical on hands support

stay online with the person on the other end (a lot of the time we are on
the phone with them and stay on the phone with them) until they are finished
So question for the poster. What is the desired use for the app?
Is it for meetings or remote support?
