A search for the Ross's Goose recently observed on Scuttlehole Road was
unsuccessful today. Other birders were also searching the area and, as of
approximately 12:00PM, had not seen the bird. A Tundra Swan was on Sag Pond and
fourteen Snow Geese (including a blue morph) was observed in a flock
5Fish crow, in with large flocks of American crow (AMCR) , streaming east
over Gander Mountain plaza. 5pm-ish.

1. Great blue heron, in a field ditch in Wallkill, NY. Its been in that
area all winter :). Hundreds (200+) of
American crow streaming east over Middletown,NY. Does anyone know where
the main nightly roost sites are ??

2/16/11 Long Lake (northern Hamilton County)
There are 4 finch species visiting our feeders. The Evening Grosbeak
numbers continue to increase, and there are now between 100 and 110. It is
quite loud outside our house and I am going through a LOT of seed! I
haven't tried to get an exact
