(after a good while searching) on the east side of the East Drive and
north of the E. 79 Street transverse road. While this is actually a
rather short distance

Bird Club, to the state list as well. After his post, in addition to the below
mentioned Snow Geese, he had an additional flock of 2500-3000 Snow Geese at Oil
City Rd., in Pine Island.

i headed up to hook mt. in nyack this morning to open the spring hawk watch
season. even at this early date i had 4 red shoulders, 2 coopers hawks, 3
sharpshins and a harrier moving north from 9:30-12:15. in addition were the
usual local black and turkey vultures, red tails and peregrine,

along Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton an adult Bald Eagle cruised over the
