This upper Manhattan park is situated along the Harlem River at the end of
Dyckman St. & 10th Avenue across the island from Fort Tryon Park.

Found ~2:30 this afternoon during a belated (and fruitless) search
for the N. Shrike found Tuesday by Ken Fuestel at nearby Cedar Beach.
Both Orange-crowns were in the dense scrub immediately on the other
side of the dirt berms ~30 yards SE of the cell phone tower. They were
not seen simultaneously
I heard from Tom Burke that he and Gail found an adult LITTLE GULL (with
about 100 Bonaparte's Gulls) late today out on the ocean off Point Lookout
Town Park. There was a frenzy of large gulls at the mouth of Jones Inlet
earlier in the day, but they appeared to be all Herring. Still RAZORBILL
activ
The avocet on Coney Island Creek was still present this morning at around 8am.
It was resting on the sand spit at the west end of Leon Kaiser Park.

A female King Eider is off East Island, Glen Cove, Nassau County. It is visible
at a distance looking west from Pryibil Beach, Glen Cove. This is just west of
Bayville.
