Bob Adamo and I did a late afternoon drive of EPCAL. On the eastern
grassland we saw two Red-tailed Hawks, two Eastern Meadowlarks, an American
Kestrel and a Northern Harrier. Along Grumman Blvd we picked up our FOS
Swallows: about 10 Tree and 2 Barn. Further down Grumman Blvd we picked up a

I went to Kissena Park late this afternoon to see what was in.
In the Velodrome, at the eastern corner was a Wilson's Snipe. I was able to
see it from afar because it had just landed, but then lost it as I got closer.

A quick spin through Jones Beach West End today at 3pm between work
appointments revealed 4 1st year White-crowned Sparrows by the Coast Guard
station hedgerow, along with 2 Juncos, 2 Song Sparrows and a Chipping Sparrow.

Concurring with Andrew's post on 2 Queens Co. parks' migrants today, the
northern half of Central revealed no warbler (to me), but was (relatively)
chock-full of Kinglets, including one Ruby-crowned, which was singing near the
