Today at Bronx Zoo, Pine Siskins (two, possibly more) accompanied American Goldfinches in Sweetgum crowns near Asia parking lot. Some Rusty Blackbirds too in trees bordering Children's Zoo. Also a late/overwintering Gray Catbird has been hanging around Zoo Center lately and surprise of the day

I scanned the lake in Prospect Park from about 830 to 900 a.m. this morning with no sign of the gull. Most of the gulls were on the water near the center of the lake, so it's entirely possible the bird is still there somewhere. -- NYSbirds-L List Info:
