Lark Sparrow is sticking to same area in Croton Point Park.
Also just noting that careful visits by a few different people early am, late
am and early aft today had no sightings.

Was just now messaging her teaching her steps to sign up and post her sighting
on nysbirds. She just didn't know how. ButI see partial info just posted

In addition to the light morph juv Swainson's Hawk, I saw what I think was an
adult dark morph Red-tailed Hawk this morning. This was an adult Red-tailed
Hawk (i.e., red tail) with completely blackish body plumage. It was along the
edge of Fresh Kills, just east of Rte. 440 and a little south of

Bird was found this morning by Dick Veit and access is off limits. However I
just saw it soaring with 2 Red-tails from the FedEx parking lot on Richmond
Avenue. Google Dick's Sporting Goods on Richmond Avenue and bird was seen
soaring over landfill basically across from there. No access to landf
Capri lake, 11:50 am Tufted Duck not found after 1 hr scoping, came back this
morning hoping for photos.

There's currently a male Wilson's Warbler flitting between bamboo clumps
near the (closed for season) monorail entry at Wild Asia Plaza. Active
and calling.

I follow yesterday's negative report on the Tufted Duck with another. All the
Aythyas that I can see are fairly close, clustered about the small island in
the western part of Capri Lake, and the Tufted is not among them.
