Shane Blodgett, Eric Miller and I made the pilgrimage to Tupper Lake
yesterday and were not disappointed. The Ross's Gull was present and active
from the time of our arrival at 7:30am until we left the boat launch
roughly 90 minutes later in search of other regional specialties (and blood
flow).

A Red-necked Grebe found on the Central Park reservoir yesterday by
Patrick Clair - continues this Thursday morning, seen & well-
photographed by at least several observers including myself; thru

I saw a Great Blue Heron yesterday on Lloyd Neck at 1600 in the field
across from the harbor. It stayed well in back but I captured a few blurry
photos of it in flight.
