Highlights near the croton point landfill today included a Yellow-billed
Cuckoo, flushed from the path below the landfill on the southeast side. It
flew into the vines nearby and was vocalizing. I got some good photos. Also
seen was a late Blackpoll Warbler foraging low in mugwort and grasses

mass 3.90 g. Reports to feeder every 20-30 min per host.

I had an Empidonax flycatcher this morning in Prospect Park. I was first
alerted to the bird by its incessant "whit" calls, and eventually got some
looks at it as it actively foraged fairly high in the treetops. Between the
