Is there a way to search ebird for a person's report on a certain day. If I
now that Joe Smith filed a report on March 2, 2021, how can I find it?

Despite the much appreciated efforts of Rich Guthrie, Gary Chapin, and others
to track it for us during our long drive, the goose and it's 20 or so Canada
friends had disappeared into the private and patrolled trailer park before we
arrived around 5:30 this evening. We waited until they flew

If the goose isn’t at the lake tomorrow it’s worth checking nearby spots
along the Hudson like Lock 2, where this bird was first seen on Friday by
David DiSiena, or Saratoga Sod Farm, where several thousand Canada Geese
have been congregating recently.

Despite the sign saying “Open to the public “ the RV trailer campground is not
accessible.
The state boat launch is open but the goose has been playing nip and tuck
amongst the trailers and has not been seen in about an hour. It is probably
resting with the flock of 20 or so Canada Geese.

Great find. I saw a post that’s it’s a first for NYS. Can’t let PA and Ontario
have all the rare geese — not that I’ll likely try and go see it, although this
one’s not too far and could head a bit further N and load up at Oscar’s
Smokehouse. Best

Highlights: Double-crested Cormorant, Turkey Vulture, Common Raven, Brown
Creeper, Hermit Thrush, Fox Sparrow, Brown-headed Cowbird, northbound Canada
Geese overhead, diminishing numbers of wintering waterfowl.
