This afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm, there was a extremely large movement
of Alcids comprising of mostly Razorbills on the Ocean front east of the Old
inlet. It was just at low tide. I started counting groups of 25 to 30
Razorbills and lost count around the 200 mark. The birds were in

This afternoon while having no luck finding the Upland Sandpiper at Oak Beach,
I searched Heckscher State Park and found 3 Adult breeding plumaged Lesser
Black-backed Gulls resting in Parking Lot 7. Nothing else of note to report.

Best Bird seen today at 1:00 PM was a Male Cerulean Warbler among a small flock
of abundant Yellow-rumped Wablers on the Blue Trail at the end of the 4
Bridges. Yellow-rumped Wablers and Black and White Wablers the most numerous
Wabler species. Also seen in lesser numbers were

Drive at 1:45 PM today.
Seen at Montauk Point were the Reported Immature Lesser Black-back Gull, 1
Iceland Gull, 25 Common Eiders and an impressive number of Scoters. Best guess-
10,000 Scoters. Predominantly Surf
