Had an adult Brown Booby about 30 mins ago from the Staten Island ferry heading
east toward the Bush Terminal Piers area. Could be visible from various points
along the Brooklyn waterfront or Governor’s Island.

An adult Brown Booby was first found in NJ very close to NY waters. I was
able to re find it clearly on the New York side along with Seth Wollney.
Best public access to where it was flying around is at the intersection of

The adult Brown Booby continues. I observed it at 6:22pm perched with several
DC Cormorants on the yellow data collection float located west of the bridge on
Reservoir Road. Earlier observers saw it here and feeding near the rocky shoal
well east of the bridge.

vantage at Field 2 at Robert Moses State Park in Suffolk County.

Sorry for the barrage of emails, but in case anyone was interested the bird
has been seen on the Super Hawk and Captain Al out of Point Lookout the
last few day. It was also seen out of Freeport on the Captain Lou. My
mistake the bird is not quite an adult.

There was a post last night in the Vermont Birds on Facebook by a ferry captain
who said he saw the Brown Booby shortly after leaving Essex last night, he
provided a good description as the bird flew past the boat and landed on the NY
side.

The Buffalo BROWN BOOBY was seen on Donnelly's pier this afternoon, spotted
by some birders in Ontario. Informed of that sighting, Dave Klauber found
it with some effort on the back side of the wall from the Erie Basin Marina
tower. Visibility was not good with the rain.

For those who've not seen the news already, an adult BROWN BOOBY was seen
and photographed yesterday by a number of observers in the upper reaches of
the Niagara River seen both along the Buffalo waterfront (Niagara Co.) and
Fort Erie side (Ontario, Canada). Always a very notable bird for New York
I observed the Brown Booby yesterday at the White Lake WMA in Hardwick Twsp.,
NJ on Rte. 521/Stillwater Rd.. It was far away on the dock but did fly a
little towards us into a tree to roost for the night. I was there from about
7pm to 8pm and it was still there when I left. A scope is needed.
