We had a nice assortment of sightings this morning on my NYC Audubon Bryant
Park walk (in spite of the park having ripped out much of its shrubbery and
other vegetation).

Wood Thrushes, Veery, Catbirds in seemingly every shrub and tree, at least six
Baltimore Orioles, a similar number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Red-eyed,
Warbling, and Blue-headed Vireo, and 14 species of warbler: N
I don't remember seeing anyone mention this from the Peterson Warblers book:
"There are [...] exceptional midwinter records for Illinois (Chicago,
December to January) [...]."
