Cross posting a report from Anthony Ciancimino who reports a Thick-billed Murre
in Great Kills Harbor. The bird is visible from the harbor parking lot.

The Murre continues at Montauk Point. We saw it from the rocks below the
lighthouse. It was fairly close to shore. We tried to locate it from the grassy
field behind the lighthouse without success.

intercept it after the VN bridge would be Veterans Memorial Pier at Bay

The Thick-Billed Murre continues at the Shinnecock Inlet. At 8:45 it was in the
mouth of the inlet, between the two jetties.
Also of note was a female Harlequin duck on the east side of the east jetty.

Heard a little while ago from Helen Hays that this morning (April 25) Matthew
Male picked up a dead Thick-billed Murre on Great Gull Island, Suffolk County.
The bird is in winter plumage and does not appear to be long dead.

At approximately 10:00AM this morning a Thick-billed Murre was observed in the
ocean off the Tiana Beach (Dune Road) pavilion. The bird was observed swimming
west. Other than the Murre there was not much else, although American Bittern
and Black-crowned Night Heron were observed on the north sid

About 3:45 this afternoon I had a THICK-BILLED MURRE fly by as I stood at the
base of Veteran's Memorial Pier, my last stop of a Brooklyn birding day that

Thick-billed Murre in Dead Horse Bay.
It is behind the usual massive flock of Greater Scaup (which includes at least
one Canvasback that they just found).
