I went this morning from about 8:45am to around 10:30am to the Van Cortlandt Park Parade Grounds and Lake area looking for the recently found geese.  The 2-300 Canada Geese were on the fields but only the imm. white phase Snow Goose was there.  I got excellent looks at all the geese from

Actually the Barnacle & 1 Cackler are still present. I just left the park about an hours ago. The Cackler was with the Canada Geese on the lake and the Barnacle was grazing on a fenced in area just off the parade ground near a park maintenance area. Angus Wilson, New York City & The Springs,

 No Barnacle or Cackling geese today but did have a Common Merganser, 7+ Hooded Mergansers, a Ruddy Duck, and a female Northern Shoveler in with the geese on the lake at Van Cortlandt Golf Course.  Some idiots with a dog scared the geese off the fields soon after I got there so didn't get a
