Northern Wheatear continues at the same location, alternating between the grass
and perching on the posts in the median. Great looks.

Hi All,
The Northern Wheatear is a wonderful, cooperative bird that many have been
lucky to view.
I’m passing along a request form the Park management - please refrain from

Thanks to a very nice birder that I talked with in the parking lot, I
was able to see and photograph the Northern Wheatear (which I did not
know was present) near Liberty Marsh this afternoon in the same spot as
was previously reported. Photo is here: http://flic.kr/p/aureKW

satellite photo is old — on the order of two years so — and currently
the group of parking areas is occupied with a good deal of
construction material and equipment;

The Google Map link/coordinates posted by Jim Osterlund is correct. Sikorsky
Airport in Stratford, CT is very small and not too complicated to navigate.
From the NYS border on I-95 it is approximately 40 miles; from my house (near
the Stamford/Greenwich border) it's only a 45 m
Instructions for locating this bird remain distressingly unclear, with
details only locals might recognize. None the less, it would appear
that the fence involved is here, marked by the green arrow,
paralleling Great Meadow Road, marked with the red pointer;
