When pin is queried shortly after a Siera dongle is plugged in, "AT+CPIN?"
responds with "CME ERROR 14: SIM".
Poll the sim, as already done by several other vendor plugins.

I made 2 patches to implement send_passwd on qmi some time ago. Are
these patches going to be applied or is there something wrong with it?
I'd like to know, because i'm making other changes on the qmi sim code.

Hi,
when a context is active, the interface name is typically ppp0. If you try
to run pppd for some other device/interface, the kernel ppp driver prints
an error because it can't register ppp0. It looks like it's assumed that
ppp* interface names are reserved for the ppp_driver.
Can the tun interf

Hi Yevhen,
I've seen the same issue before with an Huawei modem.
It looks like not all modems can handle sending "ATE0 +CMEE=1" to the modem
and pcui port simultaneously.
Try removing this line from huawei_enable():
g_at_chat_send(data->modem, "ATE0 +CMEE=1", NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL);

Ok. So in case of the atmodem driver, would it be correct to move this

I've just seen the same issue on a huawei E369. So i'm not so sure fixing
it in the plugin is the best way.

seconds if sim_pin_query_cb get's a CME Error 14.
Is it ok to do it like this?

Hi,
Immediately after the 'Present' property changes to true on

sim is not yet initialized this is set to "none". It would be nice if
this was set to "notinitialized", or if there would be an additional
