After running build 151 packages for about three weeks I have finally
found some time to polish things up and re-compile/re-publish
consolidations.
My packages from three weeks ago required some modifications to get them
to install. The ones I am assembling at the moment using
distro

Due to last minute packaging fixes I wasn't able to update the /dev-il
repo last night. I have pushed new packages to /dev-il repo this morning
and image-updated my 148b machine from it. It appears to be working ok
so far.

I can confirm I am getting the same problem with the GUI tool on b148.
The same system can be upgraded using pkg(5) command just fine.

There is a way in the audio810.conf to restrict the channels to stereo. I
cannot recsll offhand and I cannot check the source atm, but if you try it you
might get better results.

I have uploaded initial text-installer ISO and USB images to:

You can use text-installer images to install OpenIndiana on new
machines. To get all GUI bits in one go you can install
pkg:/slim_install meta-package (and then uninstall it once all the
