Hey guys,
I haven't been able to work on my truck for a while, separation, had
to move it to mom's. I had some trouble a while back with a leaky
transmission and in the process of removing it I couldn't move it any
more. I was told that I needed to remove the cross-member, but that
was after the fa

ee speed? Do you have a
torque tube drive shaft? I have a line on SOME parts that are real
cheap. I just did my tranny, and have some parts left over that I do
not want to store, and I have a line on some parts that are really
cheap, since I just finished my hunt for parts myself.

I'm pulling my tranny to replace all the seals since my clutch gear
retainer gasket is bad. The drive train is seriously in the way
though. Any tricks or tips? The manual makes it seem really easy, but
I have a 58 motor in a 52 pick-up so maybe the clearance has changed.
Should I pull the drive
to unbolt and lower to the floor. Didn't
use a tranny jack (I think the unit weighs about 50 lbs) but it
would have probably been easier. I also found this to be a much
easier way to install.

I have a bad seal on my transmission. The clutch gear bearing retainer
gasket (say that 5 times fast) is leaking all over my driveway. I
bought a gasket kit from Chevy Duty to replace all the seals while I
have it out. Does anyone have any advice or tips they can pass along?

Howdy Folks,
I have a gas additive question. All of my peoblems in the last few
months have been gas related. Apparently gas is going bad sooner than
in the past (according to the shop that built my motor). I used por-15
the last time but it didn't help. Anyone have suggestions for gas

Ok, heres my problem. I can start my truck, but it won't stay running.
I thought it was out of gas and checked that out from the tank up to
the carburetor. I am thinking that I have a wiring problem. The truck
will turn over and fire up but then will just peter out without
actually running. Whe
Here's another carb related question...
I have the Fenton dual exhaust on my truck. Is it worth it to look for
a dual carb unit or will that even fit on my manifold?

Hey guys,I need some help. I have a 235ci motor (that came from a 58')
in my 52' and I was wondering if anyone out there had a diagram or
schematic (or a link) of the carburetor or the parts in it. The carb I
have is a Rochester one barrel. I want to buy a rebuild kit, but I

I'm installing an aftermarket turn signal assembly in my 52 pick-up
and I'm having some problems. I upgraded to 12 volts so this may be it
but here goes...
Left signal-works but front left parklamp is "dim"
Right signal-works in rear but both front parklamps blink very bright
Any suggestions?
Hi, anyone have a picture of the old wiring diagram for the
aftermarket turn signals? Or does anyone know a website with it? I
cannot find mine.

Was wondering if the voltage reducer I bought frfom Chevy Duty needs
to go to the dashboard/gauge, or in line with the gas tank itself.
Anyone used these before? I have a 12-volt generator and I am changing
the system over to 12-v. This is essentially the last step in my
conversion. Thanks.

Hi,
I just swapped my old 216 for a 235 and I have a VERY leaky
transmission. This truck has been sitting for a lonnng time. It
looks like it is leaking from the front and the back of the
transmission. I don't want to put it back in the shop, any
suggestions on rebuilding, seals, or other sol
