Remove the spark plugs , dist. cap and rotor , connect the dwell meter & crank the engine , adjust the dwell " On The Fly " (whilst it's cranking) to 33° _on_the_button_ , not close , no +/- allowed , snug up the points screw and re check the dwell , then open the plug gaps up to .035" ~ ,040"

Yay ! . Now , try opening up those plugs to .040" and see if it doesn't run even better... I use copper cored plugs as those newfangled platinum etc. plugs all run too cold & foul easily . I'm still driving and loving my new '69 C/10 Stepper , yes the engine is worn out so it burns a quart o
