Remove the spark plugs , dist. cap and rotor , connect the dwell meter & crank
the engine , adjust the dwell " On The Fly " (whilst it's cranking) to 33°
_on_the_button_ , not close , no +/- allowed , snug up the points screw and re
check the dwell , then open the plug gaps up to .035" ~ ,040"
m hot once it's running passibly .

I use copper cored plugs as those newfangled platinum etc. plugs all run too
cold & foul easily .

ALL InLine 6 Bangers as a matter of fact .
The later , thinwall 250 CID's you're supposed to use TDC (stick shift) or 4°
BTDC (slush boxes) but if you encounter hesitation issues
