Yesterday while towing my stepsons '95 Volvo that he just blew the engine in, my '01 Chevy van just stopped running. Had to be fuel pump or ignition. Turns out it was pump, and for $975.00 it was running fine today! Didn't have time or the desire to work on it. Hard to believe a fuel pump is $490

Olds offered a 400 hp engine in their 70 Toro. Well, that's what they called it from the factory. That's not an honest 400 horse on an engine dyno today. Bruce, you should not mess with the 350 if you want 400 horsepower. Go with a 455. It will have 400 horsepower fairly easily and 600 pou

well...you can always keep the original block in a bag and run whatever you want so you need to decide 455 (most raw power) or 425 (fun, different) or 403 (more cubes, small block convenience) or 350 (originality) if you're going 455, making 400 HP is easy and not expensive, use the usual 11.0-1
