Quite to the contrary. When OpenOffice would only tell me that the document is
already open, instead of doing what I propose, I would laughingly or angrily
ask: What were the programmers thinking?

Installation worked well with your test build on a XP SP3 machine, where AOO
3.4 Rev1296433 (and earlier revisions) had failed (BUG119004) .

"Error: An error occurred during registration of extensions!" at the end of

Unfortunately I can't provide any help on an OO-DEV level, I'm only doing
some extension development using OO-Basic.
