The Build Machine has never supported 64-bit Windows, all builds are
32-bit. The main reason for this is that I don't have a copy of any
64-bit Windows operating system.
The compiler I installed is Visual C++ 7.0 with SP1. This is the
compiler I used for the last incarnation of the Windows

case AFAIK that some free products from Microsoft had the license
requirement that one was not allowed to distribute the compilation
