Josh, I would like to also see customizations you made made to Self-Check code, so I can get ideas. I had been meaning to ask you when I saw this thread. Thanks in advance, Yamil Yamil Suarez, MCS Associate Director of Library Systems & Web Development

Joe, I have a fix for keeping the cursor focus always on the scan box. We also use touch screens for our self checks and we were having trouble with the fact that it was easy to move the focus, which would cause the next scan to silently fail, and sometimes switch screens. I have a bug report

While we’re on the subject of user-friendliness of the built in self-checkout, does anyone have any .tt2 modifications that they are pleased with and would be willing to share? I’ve had tweaking the scripting to make the navigation links more button like (ie touch screen friendly) on my to-do

Just a note about the Missing Pieces functionality. I could not find documentation on it when I looked awhile back, so I just opened a Launchpad bug with a brief summary: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1706664 -- Michele M. Morgan, Technical Support Analyst North of Boston Library
