I want to add this furter information. The separate commands:
kinit x
aklog -c cell.it -k CELL.IT
work well.

The `klog.krb5' command (AFS version: OpenAFS 1.4.14 built 2010-12-20) does
not work on Mac os x 10.6.8.
It does not work also in previous version of OpenAFS (1.4.11) on previous
version of mac os x (10.4)
Any ideas?

Installing OpenAFS version number above 1.2.10 (client) for Mac OX
10.x when you try to get the version number via the kextstat command
you get 1.2.10 number. Is this correct? Which version is currently
running?

Hi!
I am running OpenAFS on an Apple PowerPC G4 under Mac OS X 10.1.5.
Occasionally I need to shutdown and restart the AFS client without
rebooting the computer. I use the command afsd shutown, but any
attempt to restart the client (using the OpenAFS script) fails due to
the remaining
