when I create a subCA with OpenCA the (sub)CA certificate is shown as CA
certificate correctly but when I click on it, the web interface tells
me, that is ist not in the certificate table.
Even more confusing, when I issue an end user certificate by this subCA
with the same serial. The

certs were unusable by the clients. We changed the configs in
etc/openca/openssl/openssl to use sha1 instead of sha256 and all worked
well.

Yep - you are correct - the issue I was referring to should have been
resolved by installing SP3 - this is obviously something else...

Chances are that you did not change the default signature hash (which is
SHA256 in this version), and your client machine does not support
signatures created with SHA256
Either change the default algorithm to SHA1 or upgrade the client you
are using to connect to the interface

My compilation ends with warnings and make test with errors.
Probably problem with expat.

I already ran into this using Postgres This patch is already
installed. I am using DC style certificates (which is new to me and I had
to change a bunch of the templates to support this). To reiterate, here is

I'm having troubles with 1.0.2 OpenCA installation. I installed some
0.9.2 reseales few years ago, but have no luck with this new release so
far. :-(
My problem is I can not see any Initialisation link in the CA web interface.
Only "Home Page ⋅ Get CA Certificate ⋅ Request a Certificate
