Why do you say this ? Generally the class byte is 00 in a get response,
but there is nothing to stop a card OS to expect a class byte that is
something else.

Well thanks to the folk at IAIK and Alan Kozlay it looks like we have
some new stuff for OCF. What's the progress with setting up a
repository so we can contribute further stuff ? At the moment I'm
having to keep emails lying around to track everything.
Can I help with setting up the reposito

I'd love a copy of the changes you made. Could you email me the code ?

Christophe,
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the effort you have
put in in the past, especially as it is no longer 'part of your job'.
I second that.
Hopefully we can rekindle the development of, and interest in, the OCF.
What do others think?

Hi,
This is slightly off topic for the OpenCard mailing list, but I hope
people don't mind as it may be of interest.
We've made available a build tree skeleton that can compile & load IBM
JCOP card apps using the Ant build tool - all you need is the JCOP

Your best bet is to use CORBA. This isn't as bad as it sounds, and I've
had great results using open source ORBs talking from Win32 C++ to Java

It's a poor reflection on the computing world as to how amazed I was to

I really like the Towitoko range - www.towitoko.de. However, they only publish
drivers for Win32, so you must use the PC/SC bridge.

I'd like to make a radical suggestion, in line with the recent announcement by the
Opencard Foundation.
It seems to me there are quit a few people interested in using smartcards with Java
via the OpenCard Framework - witness the work by Wangjammers. I've certainly made use
of it in the past,
Amen to that. PC/SC is pretty dire, and the MS implementation is
dangerous. I say this after having personal experience of rendering 2
NT 4.0 workstations unuseable after installing a certain PC/SC driver & app.
This isn't totally Microsofts fault, as it was a 3rd party driver, but

permanently ? I've noticed that using
