Hi all,
due to some problems during a distribution upgrade resulting in old Mediawiki -
new PHP incompatibilities, wiki.openezx.org is currently down. We expect it to
be back online until the weekend.
Sorry for any inconvenience,

Sure, if your baseband has a separate interface for data and you use 07.10 just
for signalling / SMS, then it doesn't matter.

maybe we should just ship a (stripped-down) header file in the boot-usb

I doubt that this will still work on actual real-world devices. Sure,
with the code that Google released and on the emulator it would work.
But I'd expect that most, if not all devices will come locke
'secure' version
that actually contains mask-rom boot code that can do signature checks, etc.
I think with most current-generation cellphones you still don't see this
in widespread use. But expect anything released in 1-2 years from now
to use this kind of technology.

But it will not change the least bit for people who actually want an
open source based phone where they can write, install and run their own
native Linux programs, ...
Neither will it help phone customers to actually own their devices (i.e. put
them under their control, rather than the vendor

it basically states that motorola wants to consolidate the mobile phone
platforms to P2K, Android and Windows Mobile.

We can also use a separate IP address, if that makes it easier to
