coolbeans, so we should *in theory* be able to easily extend the ctags to cover
the scala stuff... so whats missing to fully support Scala?

I'll add comment to the bug.
Not sure the 7zip (GUI) idea is really the best way to go, perhaps more along
the lines of the jar analyser or even the Koders method.

is it expected that the zip/bzip/tar and gzip file analyser only produces file
listings and that it doesn't expand the contents of these files and indexes
them as per jar files?
is this road mapped?
i have a use case where all compressed gnu archive types need to be indexed
and search
