If I may chime in, I've always found myself wanting a keyboard shortcut
for editing songs. The default Mac OS X shortcut for something of this
nature would be cmd-i or 'Get Info'. You'll find this behaviour in
Finder, iTunes, iPhoto, and others.
Thanks!

I started in the beginning with some keyboard mappings but I believe
these were never committed to trunk. I will have actually quite some

Alt and Ctrl on the other platforms was to replace that with Alt
and Cmd - were it makes sense. I personally have to admit that I only
use the basic short cuts (e.g. to blank / unblank the screen etc) and
never use one of the F-key
I need to really take a step back and review everything going on with
this, it's a bit deeper than just what shortcuts are being used.
The configure shortcuts seems like it's set up for a different app.
I am not used to seeing mac apps relying on the F1-F12 keys either.
But this stuff needs a
Is this ticket still valid? Is anyone working on it?

It looks quite good, CTRL is recognized as the META key (which is
expected), but the wording is wrong (as CMD and CTRL are switched on
Mac). One other thing is that the CMD key does not get recognized but if
I press CMD+O e.g. it opens the Open dialog.
To summarize:
- CTRL on Mac is recognized
Partially fixed, but not completely, we will need to try and fix it
properly in 1.9.7

The configuration of shortcuts in the dialog does not really work with
the special keys (Command, Option, ...) on OS X. I will figure out the
keycodes for these and maybe I can then update the code to support that.
But that would be next week.
