Sounds good - screensharing and recording are not of high importance at this
point, so I can live without them until this is fixed. I'll keep an eye open
for the guide to be published. Thanks for your quick response.

you should use native SSL, we will publish a guide soon.
However the screensharing and recording has no SSL feature yet.
We hope to fix that when the guide is ready.

I've looked through the list archive quite a bit, but couldn't find a
solution to my problem there. I'm trying to use RTMPS in the latest
version of OpenMeetings (Windows clients only at this point), so I've
enabled RTMPS in red5 and in the client configuration. I have added a
valid certificat
except the one that we are offering :))
I guess you still need a developer that customize it for your needs?

you can disable some features if you stop the red5-openmeetings service and
change the visibility of the main-menu items by editing the column "deleted"
in the table mainnavi, globalnavi.
And for disabling the recording button there is a Flag *allowRecording*, but
you will need to set t
that means you've missed to set the server-character-set=utf8 before you do
the installation.

the system just return a blank page. A login is not possible, the
browser instead returns "Error missing (556) and the command cli
(where I started ./red.sh) shows the following error:

I would like to know how can i disable features / links in the openmeetings
environment for users.
I would like to remove the recordings button , calender, send invitation etc
