ah, forgot to mention: I found out the net connection
I used most likely has a strange IDS tool or something
like that, and I guess it caused the trouble with https
connections. different net connection (but everything
else 100% the same) and the problems are gone.
so for now I can live with the c
I like the change with "struct foo" vs. "foo_t", but also I prefer
variable names in function definitions. but I'm not sure if
that results in problems, if people want to use different names.
(no need to change, only meant as feedback...)

The archive that comes with Spanish DNI software for Mac, contains
libopensc-dnie.a which in turn contains the symbols that are listed in the
attached file.
One file, c3po_card.o gives the impression that Marc can give a well informed
answer about OpenSC and DNI software.
