Hmm.. I overlooked the earlier details. Yes you should be able to run
the 3d stuff. looks like you need an xorg file. Have you tried the
BeleniX method I mentioned?

Tools -> NVIDIA S Server Settings. Clicked on "X Server Display Configuration"
and then on "Save to X Configuration File" and typed /etc/X11/xorg.conf .

But how do I uninstall it? There isn't any script to do that, is there? And I
don't remember where it got installed...
And also, Alan, I already DO have an xorg.conf . Thanks anyway, that command
