"Last" August, err this, not next ...
But it doesn't matter, as the whole system is a source of in-equality in case
of so many people (who unfortunately never ever complain).

Hi, I'm currently (and temporarily) online again, after a
"business-deal"-travel related interruption.
I found that parts of my original statement may sound ambiguous. I would like
to correct this now.

Seems like a concluding remark is long overdue. All those video driver
problems disappeared with SXCE 76. In all honesty, I never had any doubt that
it will be fixed in due time, but just never thought would be so quick.

Hi all,
I see notices in the Solaris 10 Docs that NIS+ may not be available in
the future. Has a date been set for it's demise?
Also I notice that the NIS+ Documentation is missing from the Solaris
Express Documentation Cluster. Is this a mistake, or is it's removal
intended for Solaris 11 (or
try:
# ifconfig rtls1 plumb
# ifconfig -a
to check whether rtls1 is there.
It's better not to have both NIC to be of same chipset,
when more than one OS is being used, you'll be mad on
0/1/2numberings for different OSes.

for x86/x64 boxes, Wake-on-LAN is a NIC/Mainboard thing, nothing to
be related to Opensolaris, IMHO.
I'd used "wol [-i ] macaddress on all those boxes and use
grub-set-default for OSes selection.
no known problems, so far.

Seems as if there was a change in default behaviour of the less command between
b72 and b76. It now clears the screen at exit which I find most annoying. Or is
it the GNOME terminal that has changed???
Anyway, why have the behaviour changed???

Ok now I am just guessing
Have you compiled your C or C++ program with the -g flag. The flag is used to
store the debug information so that the debugger can use to to display the
names. It may solve your problem
