If you want just x86, then nexenta as a distro has all necessary
OpenLDAP and various language/db supported packages.

Hi,
I have a problem when I try to init manually ldapclient and LDAP server is
running in SSL mode:
following the command:
ldapclient -v manual -a credentialLevel=proxy -a
AuthenticationMethod=tls:simple -a proxyDN=cn=root,dc=alu,dc=com -a
proxyPassword=newuser1 -a defaultSearchBase=ou=Users,ou=
Thanks ux-admin,
I saw that path and have no idea where it's coming from or where to fix it.
to build the pam-1.0.2 package all that was done was a phpize, confgure and
make install. I searched all of those paths and files (nada). The other
possibility was php.ini and that is set to /usr/lib/se
It's just a hack. Use it and be happy. If it works for you, fine, if not, make
it better, it's open source. It is not meant to be an "integrated" thing into
opensolaris. Seems you're the one that wants it to be "integrated", since noone
else said anything about it in this forum.
Thanks

hp doesn't have "try before you buy"?

Look carefully at that path.
You're linking it wrong. Are you familiar with ld(1), and how to control the
linking process properly?

Recompiling is the easy part. Integration is the hard one. And if you're bogged
down in tons and tons of other engineering work, it's too much effort to spare
on one more thing.
